Pamela Print
Pairing 14-years’ weaving experience with a passion for sustainability, Pamela is a hand-weaver who subscribes solely to the slow textile movement.
Coming from a long line of keen hand-knitters, Pamela has always been interested in many areas of contemporary craft. She studied woven textiles at Central St Martins and has a particular interest in the mathematical and technical aspects of weaving. Pamela also enjoys the freedom of being able to design directly on the loom.
Seven years spent living and working in the creative quarter of Saint Gilles in Brussels have heavily influenced her practice and helped develop her distinctive signature style. Her current interiors collection was inspired by the local streets renowned for their Art deco architecture.
Before founding her studio in 2017, Pamela was selected by Texselect (formally Texprint) to exhibit at Premier Vision in Paris. This propelled her into a 14-year career as a woven textile designer for some of fashion’s most well-known brands. During this time, she realized that preserving the environment is important to her and Pamela Print Woven Textiles now subscribes solely to the slow textile movement.
