Personal Story – Angelique always had an interest in Mandalas and was attracted by the beautiful colours. After moving beyond her initial fears she fully immersed herself and realised what an impact Mandala can have on stress and anxiety management. She started teaching in her conservatory and it took off from there!
We asked Angelique in what ways she has seen the benefits of her workshops – “People are surprised by their creativity and their energy increases! Doing something aesthetically pleasing and combining with music and fragrance makes you feel calm in the mind. Those who can’t normally relax find they can forget and enjoy. It gives people time for themselves, helps them be mindful and in the present moment.”
Angelique’s tips for maintaining a balanced lifestyle – “Ensure all areas of life are being cared for. Exercise where possible, consider diet, hydration and good sleep. Combat loneliness by seeing friends and joining groups. If you are working hard, make sure you are still caring for yourself . Just be with yourself in silence, music and nature. Find a form of relaxation. Do Mandala at home!
