Sew Good – Create a Capsule Wardrobe
Course Description
A dressmaking class for all skill levels.
Come and learn new sewing techniques; this is an opportunity to create new styles by up cycling and customising existing garments.

Upcycled Notebooks ( 2 Week Course)
Course Description
Over this 2 week course we will create a unique A5 note book in the traditional Japanese Blue Boro style and learn core bookbinding skills of folding, cutting and sewing.
Week 1 We will use fabric scraps (or participants own personal fabric/old clothing) and a simple running stitch, to create layers of fabric, a unique cover for our book.
Week 2 we will go on to learn the traditional long stitch, exposed binding, adding cartridge paper pages to our books.

Kids’ A-Z Art Club
Course Description
Come and join our young artists session! We will explore the work of famous artists and produce our own creations using a variety of different materials and techniques, from Abstract to Zoomorphic. You wil also produce a sketchbook and other work that can lead to Arts Award certificates.

Course Description

Want to reconnect with your inner artist? A course in Creative Recovery could be the answer. Adapted for UK users from Julia Cameron’s ‘The Artist’s Way’, this 12-week course is aimed at those who wish to uncover or rediscover their creative self. It is a course of self-discovery that allows you to be creative. Facilitated by a local practitioner who is a qualified therapist and teacher who has received Julian’s blessing to spread the word.
Portrait Painting with Acrylic (5 Week Course)

Learn to paint a portrait in acrylic. Basic painting skills will be covered in this step by step approach to create a realistic portrait.


Intro to Printmaking (3 Week Course)

These workshops will focus on exploring the endless possibilities of collagraphic printmaking. Collagraph is a very creative and experimental form of printmaking using non-specialist materials using texture to create a board. This affordable and environmentally friendly printmaking technique produces amazing results with tremendous image and textural potential. Participants will learn to use both relief and intaglio printing techniques required to make their own print. No previous experience needed.
