Whatever the focus we always begin each class with a series of loosening-up exercises to build confidence and allow ourselves time to make a mess and mistakes. Over the course we’ll develop new techniques, learn about basic perspective and proportions an experiment with lots of different mediums.

Judy will help you focus on improving your practice and encourage you to try different mediums including pencils, charcoal, ink and paint, through exploration of famous artist’s work.

Are you looking for something different to do for date night? Fancy a night away from the kids? Or bring a friend and sip on one of our locally sourced alcoholic drinks!

Get creative together with an activity from our crafting menu or choose from our selection of ceramics to paint pottery.

£5 deposit per person required to secure reservation. This will be deducted from your final bill at the end of the evening.

This exciting, brand new class will consist of an introduction to spinning, the history of spinning, types of fiber, how to use a drop spindle for a complete beginner and information on plying and preparing the yarn. Jayne will demonstrate how to use a spinning wheel which you will be able to experiment with.

Each attendee will be given a goody bag with their own spindle and fiber to take home and continue their spinning journey with at home!

You do not need to bring anything with you, all equipment will be provided.

This class also includes a delicious slice of homemade cake and a hot drink from our Cafe.

1. Camera Basics: Familiarising yourself with the different components and functions of a digital camera. Understanding the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings. Exploring various shooting modes to achieve desired effects.
2. Composition and Framing: Learning the principles of composition to create visually balanced and engaging photographs. Understanding the rule of thirds, leading lines, and other composition techniques. Experimenting with different perspectives to add depth and interest to your images.
3. Lighting and Exposure: Utilising natural and artificial light to enhance your photographs. Mastering exposure settings to achieve proper brightness and contrast.

Explore the art of printing with Gelli Plates, a versatile and captivating tool that can produce stunning and unique prints. 4. All Materials Provided

We provide all the materials you require, but if you have your own Gelli plate please bring it along. We will also treat you to a slice of delicious homemade cake.

Then, it’s time to bring those visions to life as the children paint pottery inspired by the story’s main character.
