Tataki Zome (Flower Pounding) Workshop

Tataki Zome is a traditional Japanese art form, also known as “leaf pounding” or “plant hammering,”. It captures the vibrant colors and delicate patterns of leaves and flowers, creating stunning botanical prints on fabric. This is a meditative and hands-on art technique that brings together the serenity of nature and the joy of creativity. Using simple tools and natural materials, you’ll learn to imprint the intricate details of leaves and flowers onto fabric, resulting in exquisite and one-of-a-kind designs. This art form not only allows you to connect with nature but also encourages mindfulness and relaxation.

This workshop includes a hot drink and a slice of delicious homemade cake, as well as all necessary materials, including fabric, leaves, flowers and tools.
