Event Details
In a strong hunting community, Chief Hunter and Tes navigate their marital life amidst the pressures and expectation of society. Desperate for a child in his marriage, Chief Hunter is confronted with his loyalty for Tes, insecurities, and the otherworldly. Despite this, Tes’ love for Chief Hunter remains steadfast, as she becomes the stability and strength behind Chief Hunter’s success.
When Chief Hunter makes a promise which cannot be broken, he sets out to do the impossible. Whilst the chase to fulfil his promise is ever present, life in the community continues as usual, visits to the King, house gatherings, farming, and guiding Little Hunter, his trusted friend and subordinate. As the apex hunter within his community, will Chief Hunter be ready for the impending danger which lies ahead of him?”
Enter this mythical world where Vivian will be exploring themes of community, sound and spiritualty in this Nigerian-based fiction written by her late father, Richard Aiyes.
